Buyer Planner

Primary Duties:
  • Plan and order parts to support manufacturing operations, and ensure material is properly shipped, expedited, and received for uninterrupted flow of material to manufacturing.
  • Use ER/MRP systems
  • Communicate and interact with internal (manufacturing, sourcing, engineering CSM etc.) and external (suppliers) contacts.
     

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Associates Degree or higher with APISC certification preferred.
  • 2+ years’ experience in similar position in a fast paced industry environment.
  • Must possess good understanding of MRP logic, PO generation and management
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior knowledge of BPCS and working with queries in BPCS desired.
  • Experience in manufacturing and warehouse environment is a plus.

Commodity Manager

Primary Duties:
  • Responsible for the strategic sourcing of material in assigned commodities to support procurement requirements.
  • Duties include source selection, build supplier relationships, and perform cost reduction negotiation, localization and delivery performance.
  • Develop total cost of ownership for an assigned commodity through RFQ’s, analyzing quotes, supplier selection, and conducing market studies of commodity item and currency.
  • Projects involve New Product Programs, globalization or certain commodities, and local supplier changes.
     

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration or Engineering. Experience may be substituted for education requirements.
  • 3+ years’ experience in purchasing and/or manufacturing environment.
  • Technical background of electrical systems and experience in component sourcing is a plus.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings is desired.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Lead Electrical Engineer

Primary Duties:
  • Research, test and troubleshoot electrical components and systems.
  • Apply principles and techniques of electrical engineering to facilitate truck shipment and meet new product specifications.
  • Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives on existing products.
  • Create and check engineering orders and drawings.
  • Update production system (BPCS) and release technical documentation (technical reports, DRBFM’s, DCP’s etc.) as required to resolve a current product problem or release a new product.
     

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years Engineering Design experience.
  • Bachelors of Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology or Associate Electrical with appropriate experience.
  • Electric component assembly experience in automotive or industrial systems – mobile or stationary
  • Ability to work with consultants and suppliers for component development.
  • Must be results oriented with ability to handle changing priorities requiring the use of multi-tasking skills.
  • Hands on experience with design, prototype build, testing, costing and production release is preferred.

Marketing Communication Specialist

Primary Duties:
  • Develop and implement integrated web communications plan in support of the company’s specific brand and marketing initiatives.
  • Responsibilities include implementation of a monthly web plan, writing/editing content and recommending and implementing SEO best practices.
  • Manage associated web suppliers and project scope to ensure projects completed on time and under budget.
  • Develop and execute creative advertising and marketing campaigns across a variety of mediums, including print, digital and multimedia.
  • Support e-marketing initiatives including development of content and creation of newsletter and other outlined e-marketing campaigns.
  • Write and edit articles for variety of marking initiatives, including internal/external newsletters, websites, and social media.
     

Minimum Requirements:

Plant Supervisor

Primary Duties:
  • Supervises, trains and evaluates the production staff to ensure quality products are produced according to specifications while maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Maintain production schedules to ensure workflow process
  • Monitors production process to ensure labor and material efficiency: makes recommendations for process/equipment changes to make improvements.
  • Assists in establishing safety and environmental policies and procedures and ensure they are adhered to; provides safety training, conducts regular shift safety meetings and safety inspections.
  • Monitors products on a regular basis to ensure quality products are produced
  • Performs Industrial Relations function by assisting in implementing and communicating plant procedures and policies to help provide a positive working environment.

  • 2 plus years’ previous plant fabrication and supervisory experience.                                                                              Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

Regional Sales Manager

Primary Duties:
  • Assist dealers in earning more business in IC and Electric Markets.  This includes generating and implementing ideas to increase dealer visibility in their territory so they are quoting more deals.   This also includes helping call on customers in various stages of the sales process including closing. 
  •  Develop shared marketing/promotion/sales strategies and support implementation using MCFA resources when needed.
  • Find ways to communicate clearly to dealer sales force our pricing competitiveness. 
  • Enable dealers to understand how to use financial merchandising to win business.  Help dealers on keeping expected business while also assisting dealers focus on target accounts. 
  • Help execute a solid major account program that assists dealers in growing business with multiple locations and large fleet customers. 
  • Find ways to motivate dealers to represent our brands well by helping them understand how to sell and make more margins. 
  • Challenge internal resources to provide insight into ITA data that provides areas of focus and growth in our efforts. 
  • Focus on winning dealers’ short term rental fleet replacement business. 
  • Ensure dealers participate actively in the pool program to ensure a timely lead time and non-discounting revenue stream for MCFA.  
  • Provide Comprehensive and energetic training that supports our Brand Values and training needs of the dealer.  This includes unsurpassed knowledge of MCFA product benefits, product application training, competitive strengths and weaknesses, demonstration techniques,  sales process training, financial merchandising and how to use all of the MCFA reference resources.  This also includes providing the dealer with assessments of individual’s skill levels in each of these areas. 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of MCFA’s financial merchandising programs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1 plus year’s Sales experience with capital goods required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Sales, Business Management or Business Administration highly preferred.
  • 2 to 5 years Material Handling industry experience preferred.

Service Engineer

Primary Duties:
  • Provide technical support to dealer parts and service personnel, other departments within MCFA, and other MCF companies.
  • Conducts detailed problem analysis to resolve product problems. 
  • Provides information and training to service analysts and parts analysts. 
  • Monitors product health to control and help reduce warranty expense to company.     
  • Maintains problem log to recognize problems and quantify same. 
  • Communicates information regarding specific problems to MHI Service Engineering, MHI Design Engineering, and/or MCFA Engineering as situation dictates. 
  • Initiates requests for product improvement to Engineering.
  • Coordinates problem resolution with Engineering, Quality, Parts Authorization. 
  • Coordinates field problem investigation and rework.
  • Travels to dealer/customer sites to assist dealers and field personnel with problem resolution. 
  • Assist dealers with customer acceptance / satisfaction issues to help ensure future product sales.
 

Job Specifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and
  • 1-2 years working with electrical components or equipment. 
  • Significant experience troubleshooting or repairing electric forklift or lift trucks will substitute for education requirement.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, drafts, failure analysis, statistical analysis and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Experience working with forklifts a plus. 
  • Quick learner.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills

Trade Compliance Classification Analyst

Primary Duties:
  • Ensure accurate classification under the United States Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, so as to be in compliance with all applicable import regulations and the Importer Self Assessment Program.
  • Responsible for the proper classification of imported goods (including Production, Service, Return, and Warrant Parts).
  • Research and classify imported parts to ensure accuracy and compliance with United States Bureau of Customs and Border Protection.
  • Provide all classifications and adequate duty rates to customs brokers.
  • Perform monthly performance assessment of each customs brokers related to classification compliance.
     

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, legal, engineering, communication, economics or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years experience in similar role; Strong knowledge of the U.S. Customs Tariff (Harmonized Tariff System) and other government agencies.
  • Demonstrated capability in problem-solving and process oriented skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong team member that is able to work collaboratively with others in a fast-pasted environment.
  • Ability to develop and provide technical training.
