• Under direct supervision, transfers material, equipment, by performing manual and routine duties.
• Locates and transfers parts within the production area.
• Verifies and maintains records within the plant.
• Uses small hand tools and may operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet handlers, skids, cranes, and hand trucks.

• Operates floor or bench-type machines to perform highly routine/repetitive work on standardized parts and details where setups are made and maintained by others.
• Work positioning is of such a nature that dimensions are not difficult to maintain.
• Work is performed under close supervision.
• Detailed instructions and guidance is provided on operating difficulties.
• Work is subject to process and final inspection.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1+ year’s experience with CNC or Plasma or Laser/Burn table machines required.
• Ability to read blueprints and to use metric measuring equipment (tape measure, scales, calipers, and micrometer) required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills required.

• Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weld able material by applying MIG welding techniques to horizontal/flat welding.
• Interprets blueprints or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.
• Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness.

• 1+ year’s MIG welding experience with practices and techniques required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills required.
• Good hand to eye coordina¬tion skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and trade school certificate preferred.

• Under direct supervision, fits and assembles components and subcomponents of forklift trucks per specifications of assembly drawings and standard operating procedures.
• Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary.
