Houston Habitat for Humanity
MCFA’s involvement with Houston Habitat for Humanity has taken on a life of its own and grown into a mutually beneficial partnership. Our group of corporate volunteers is helping Habitat address the issue of affordable housing in the community one family at a time, while a donation in 2010 of a 36-volt 4,000 lb. capacity forklift is helping Habitat lift and move construction materials in its warehouse.

MCFA's Velocity Program
MCFA’s Velocity Program made great strides in 2010 with its returnable packaging initiative focused on the environmental impact created by the amount of waste produced at every stage of the supply chain. The Velocity Program allows MCFA to mandate how it wants to receive parts rather than having a supplier ship parts to MCFA in bulk. Instead of spending time repackaging parts to be inventoried and used in assembly, materials are immediately stored and then pulled on a just-in-time basis.
